
The automated rental station for METZ Pedelecs
CyclePoint enables automated rental and return of associated pedelecs/bikes via a user-friendly smartphone app. Pedelec batteries are charged automatically as soon as the pedelec is in the parking facility. The system's software enables comprehensive documentation of all rental transactions. Fully automated operation is achieved through cloud-based software that controls and comprehensively documents the system's use and operation. The software and hardware, including the mechanics and robust bike drive technology, were developed and manufactured at Metz mobility GmbH in Fürth.

- CyclePoint is equipped with durable, resilient and low-maintenance components.
- CyclePoint consists of a base station with an integrated power supply that can control and manage up to 20 pedelecs at a charging current of 2 amps or up to 12 pedelecs at a charging current of 4 amps.
- CyclePoint systems are scalable, allowing for flexible expansion of the number of bikes to be managed. The software controls the electronics of the entire system and enables comprehensive management and documentation of all functions and activities. Users can control the necessary functions for identifying, issuing, and returning bicycles via an app on their smartphone. In the parking facility, the bicycles are automatically released or secured.
