When the U-lock is closed, the anti-theft alarm is active and triggers an audible alarm as soon as your vehicle is lifted and moved. If the unauthorized movement of the vehicle continues, a 30-second alarm will sound. Since the rear wheel of a Moover can still rotate even when the U-lock is closed, the drive is switched off to make theft more difficult.

To end a booking, you should go to a CyclePoint location (“Metz mobility GmbH” or “Karmelitenplatz”) and
- The 12DRIVE+ app must be open with the desired booking displayed (only if you want to provide feedback, the vehicle is damaged, or no station is available).
- If a station is available, push the rented vehicle forward with the pin into the contact hole of a free station so that the vehicle locks – otherwise, park it next to the station. If you want to provide feedback, the vehicle is damaged, or no station is available, end the booking using the app.

What do I need to use CyclePoint?
arrow_drop_down
A smartphone with Android or iOS and the latest version of the 12DRIVE+ app from inbooma GmbH.
Is there a charge for booking vehicles?
arrow_drop_down
Yes – there is a fee (you can find the prices on the display board at the facility) and registration via the app is necessary.
What is the range of a fully charged vehicle battery?
arrow_drop_down
The average range is a hypothetical value based on various factors: nominal speed 20 km/h, cadence 60 RPM (if applicable), total weight of rider + vehicle 120 kg, mixed terrain with occasional inclines and stops/starts, consistently good asphalt, summer temperature, and light wind. Under changing conditions, the actual range with motor assistance will deviate positively or negatively from this value.
- E-Carry CP: approx. 60 km
- E-PACKR XL CP: approx. 50 km
- E-PACKR LJ CP Kiddi: approx. 45 km
- E-MOOVER PRO CP: approx. 35 km
What is my range when I remove a vehicle from the parking facility?
arrow_drop_down
If the lower LED on the station where the vehicle is located is continuously lit green, the remaining range at the time of removal is at least 75% of the range with a fully charged battery. You can see the battery level of the booked bicycle in the app after booking, directly below the image of the bicycle, displayed as a percentage. On the Moover, you can see the battery level indicator in the upper right corner of the display: 10 bars = battery fully charged; 1 bar = battery needs charging.
Where can I see how much range I have left while driving?
arrow_drop_down
You can see the battery level of the respective vehicle in the app directly below the image of the vehicle after booking, shown as a percentage. Based on this, you can estimate the range, e.g., for the E-Carry CP, with a total weight of 120 kg, under average conditions and a 100% charge level, the range is approximately 60 km, at a 50% charge level approximately 30 km, and so on.
How can I cancel a booking?
arrow_drop_down
To end a booking, you should go to a CyclePoint location (“Metz mobility GmbH” or “Karmelitenplatz”) and
- The 12DRIVE+ app must be open with the desired booking displayed (only if you want to provide feedback, the vehicle is damaged, or no station is available).
- If a station is available, push the rented vehicle forward with the pin into the contact hole of a free station so that the vehicle locks – otherwise, park it next to the station. If you want to provide feedback, the vehicle is damaged, or no station is available, end the booking using the app.
A vehicle has just been returned to a station – why can't I book it immediately?
arrow_drop_down
After returning a vehicle, a minimum waiting period of 2 minutes must be observed before it can be booked again. Furthermore, the battery of a recently returned vehicle may be almost empty. If the lower LED on the charging station is not continuously lit green, the vehicle's battery level is below 75%.
How can I roughly check the electrical function of a vehicle?
arrow_drop_down
When switching on a bicycle using the power button on the right handlebar, the front and rear lights must turn on, and the lights behind the battery cover should illuminate green, the U-lock red, and the cockpit blue.
When switching on a Moover using the power button on the cockpit, the front and rear lights must turn on, and the U-lock should briefly light up red.
When connecting a smartphone to a U-lock, the lock briefly lights up blue; when closing it, it briefly lights up red; and when opening it, it briefly lights up green.
I cannot close or open the padlock because I cannot establish a (Bluetooth) connection with the lock using my smartphone – what can I do?
arrow_drop_down
Turn Bluetooth on your smartphone off and then on again.
Motor does not support
arrow_drop_down
- The reason might be that the vehicle is not switched on.If the vehicle is not ridden for 20 minutes (e.g., during a break), it switches off automatically. The vehicle must then be switched on again using the power button (the power button is located on the right side of the handlebars on the bicycle, and on the left side of the cockpit on the Moover).
Immediately after switching on, the motor control system on the bicycle briefly calibrates itself, so do not step on the pedals right away. The pedals must be completely unloaded during the calibration process. The calibration process is complete as soon as the headlight and taillight are on.
Where can I find my booking(s)?
arrow_drop_down
- In the app, top right under “My Bookings” you will find all bookings
- In the app at the bottom of “My Bike” you will find the last or current booking
