1. Guarantee

Metz mobility guarantees that the bicycles are free from design and material defects. The warranty can only be claimed by the original owner of the respective Metz mobility bicycle and expires in accordance with the provisions of Article 2 (Exclusion of Warranty). The warranty is non-transferable and begins on the agreed delivery date and upon acceptance of the delivery.

5-year warranty against frame breakage

3-year warranty on engine damage (up to a mileage limit of 7,500 km)

2-year warranty on components and electronics

2-year battery warranty (with a remaining capacity of at least 60% after 2 years or 500 full charging cycles, whichever comes first, and subject to the user manual)

The warranty will be fulfilled either by repairing the defective part or by supplying a new one, at our discretion. Replaced parts become our property.

2. Exclusion of warranty

3. Reporting damage in the event of a warranty claim

To report damage under warranty, you must send an email to Metz mobility. The report must include the invoice number and VIN (vehicle identification number), as well as a photo of the affected part or product. This allows Metz mobility to verify whether the damage is covered by the warranty.

Metz mobility will process the report promptly. If it is not possible to assess the fault without an inspection of the bicycle by Metz mobility, a satisfactory solution will be sought in consultation with the owner.

Before shipping a replacement part, Metz mobility is entitled to request an inspection of the defective part or product. Based on the results of the inspection, Metz mobility will decide whether the claim is covered by the warranty and whether a replacement part will be shipped.

If the affected part or product is not covered by the warranty, the shipping costs for the Metz mobility bicycle and/or parts will be borne by the owner.

In the event of a warranty claim where an equivalent original part is no longer available, Metz mobility will provide an almost equivalent alternative.

4. Liability

Acceptance of a warranty claim does not automatically mean that Metz mobility is liable for any damage that may occur. Metz mobility's liability is limited exclusively to these warranty conditions and the applicable general terms and conditions of Metz mobility.
